Sex Therapy:

Our trained sex therapist, Esther Benbihy, works with both couples and individuals. She utilizes therapeutic techniques and exercises to enhance, restore, and aid sexuality and intimacy in relationships.

A main goal of sex therapy is to encourage individuals and couples to express and explore their concerns regarding sexual aspects of their lives in a nurturing and non-judgmental environment. Sex therapy can benefit individuals and couples who are married, common-law, living together, living separately or in alternative relationships.  Sex therapy may assist individuals or couples dealing with some of the following issues/concerns:

  • Absence of orgasm;
  • Erection or ejaculation difficulties;
  • Illness/surgery, and medications, diabetes, M.S., high blood pressure physical injury or difficulties;
  • Sexual trauma (incest, sexual abuse/ assault);
  • Mismatched levels of sexual desire;
  • Fear, anxiety, depression, infidelity;
  • Natural ageing processes;
  • Couples unable to talk about sex;
  • Individuals with sexual inhibitions;
  • Sexual identity/orientation issues or questions;
